A Research on CSR Regimes in East-Asia
Growing Towards Another Crisis?
The growth in Asia has been a phenomenon that can not be ignored. But with the growing body of research dedicated to the social implications of businesses as the main economic engine, it is crucial to assess Asian businesses in such perspective. Especially since the assertions made on Asian businesses are discomforting. The leading concept that entails the role of businesses to societal life is Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Is it still the case that the current growth in Asia not a sustainable one? Could Asia face another (social) crisis because of the behavior of Corporate Asia?

Memilih Sekolah di Luar Negeri beserta Tanggung Jawabnya
Perlu dicamkan bersama bahwa tidak semua institusi pendidikan di luar negeri (negara maju sekalipun) memiliki kualitas yang lebih baik ketimbang pendidikan domestik –tidak sedikit bahkan yang justru lebih rendah. Inilah mengapa ketelitian dalam memilih sekolah di luar negeri sangat penting dan tidak bisa dipilih dengan isapan jempol belaka. Jangan sampai terjadi hanya semata karena dis-informasi atau mis-informasi, putra-putri bangsa ini mubazir merantau.

‘RUU Porno’: Arab atau Indonesia?
Masalah yang ditimbulkan "RUU Porno" lebih serius ketimbang soal bagaimana merumuskan pengertian "merangsang" itu. RUU ini sebuah ujian bagi masa depan Indonesia: apakah Republik 17 ribu pulau ini--yang dihuni umat beragam agama dan adat ini--akan dikuasai oleh satu nilai seperti di Arab Saudi? Adilkah bila nilai-nilai satu golongan (apalagi yang belum tentu merupakan mayoritas) dipaksakan ke golongan lain?
