A climate change investment treaty amongst carbon-critical countries
By michael on 28/09/2022
The unprecedented investment gap in energy transition requires an additional US$2 trillion/year more investment in energy systems. This investment must be focused on carbon-critical countries if the world
is to see change at the required scale and pace. A growing number of private and public investors are persuaded, but they lack the certainty necessary to justify taking the economic and political risks inherent in energy-transition investment. This paper proposes a novel approach to a proven concept of more than 3,000 investment treaties currently operational: a Climate Change Investment Treaty, focused on protecting carbon-critical investment in carbon-critical countries to help navigate the wicked problem that is energy transition.Category: Business & Society, Climate Change, Editorial, Energy

Twenty-three Years of Learning and Moving On
Twenty-three years—a flash in time for some, an eternity for others. For me at the moment, it’s simply my entire living journey—a journey in which I am grateful for all its joy and sorrow, its hardships and pleasure, as well as its passion and madness.

Menyambut hari kasih sayang

A Semi-Fictional Script
In 1830, young Oliver Holmes wrote a contradictive poem entitled 'The Old Ironsides'. The poem was about a United States Navy battleship USS Constitution that was about to be dismantled. This fictional script adopts the setting similar to that of a television talkshow. Although the characters represented in the script are not completely accurate and some even blundered for comedy effects, the facts about Mr Holmes and USS Constitution are real.
