The Strategic Case of Climate Change for Indonesia
It is critical to frame the issue of climate change as a problem to the population. It should not be seen only as a problem to the environment, since it also poses grave challenges to social and economic development. Planet Earth has been in existence for more than four billion years and has gone through solar storms, meteor impacts and several ice ages. Several dozens of high-grade hurricanes and meters of rising sea level will not jeopardize the planet as much as it will demolish the people living on it.The window of opportunity for Indonesia to embed climate change considerations into its development plan and muster international support to undertake a low carbon development is still open – but not for long.

For all its pivotal utilities, the calendar system also sets benchmarks in our lives so that we can see our life journey in sections like days, months, and years. It enables us to review our past and plan for the future. But most of the time we do not know the full extent of what we do today will bring us in the future. Just like we didn’t know that something small in the past actually brought something we value dearly.
Impian Itu Adalah Setiap Anak Indonesia Kenal Komputer

Cross-Cultural Management
Semboyan Bhinneka Tunggal Ika memiliki dua elemen yaitu perbedaan dan kesatuan. Jangan kita menafikan perbedaan dengan hidup dalam ilusi bahwa terdapat satu budaya Indonesia, tetapi let’s cherish and manage the differences. Rule of thumb setiap kali kita berinteraksi dengan budaya-budaya yang berbeda adalah: it’s not right, it’s not wrong, it’s just different.

Indonesia has a huge potential to produce second generation biofuel that can be produced from waste, residue, and non-crop plants. Second generation biofuel does not compete with sugarcane, corn, wheat, palmoil, or other plants that require large area of land such as jatropha.

Interfaith Dialogue
Nostra Aetate is a groundbreaking document of its time that spearheaded true interfaith dialogs from the Church in the 20th century. Explicit references are made to other religions, acknowledgment of past history, but most of all sincere intention to move forward as one humanity - beyond religious boundaries.
Undangan 29 Juni 2007

Lecture of His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI
"...While we rejoice in the new possibilities open to humanity, we also see the dangers arising from these possibilities and we must ask ourselves how we can overcome them. We will succeed in doing so only if reason and faith come together in a new way, if we overcome the self-imposed limitation of reason to the empirically verifiable, and if we once more disclose its vast horizons. In this sense theology rightly belongs in the university and within the wide-ranging dialogue of sciences, not merely as a historical discipline and one of the human sciences, but precisely as theology, as inquiry into the rationality of faith."
Kontroversi Ceramah Paus Benediktus XVI
